Frequently Asked Questions

Our tour is a 1.5-hour small-group walk (maximum 1–15 guests) led by an accredited local guide who is also a former street artist and who personally knows many of the French street artists whose work you may see on your tour. You’ll explore one of Paris’s most authentic “village” neighborhoods and decode how street art evolved here—from stencils and paste-ups to mosaics and murals.

We focus on La Butte-aux-Cailles in the 13th arrondissement—a charming, village-like area loved by Parisians and famous for its lively street-art scene. Expect cobbled lanes, small houses, and colorful walls.

Street art is ephemeral and the route changes with the walls, but you may encounter works (or traces) by names such as Invader, Seth, Miss.Tic, Jef Aérosol, Kashink, Gzup, and others your guide knows personally. We adapt the walk to what’s freshest that week.

It’s a comfortable, neighborhood-paced walk. Surfaces include pavement and some cobblestones, typical of historic Paris. Wear supportive, closed-toe shoes. (If you’d prefer gentler pacing or have mobility needs, consider a private version—we’ll tailor the route.)

Your voucher/confirmation includes the precise meeting point and an on-the-day contact number. Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can begin on time. Your tour will end in the Butte Aux Cailles, the street art there changes regularly so the route changes with it. Your guide will be able to help should you need to get back to the meeting point, get to the metro, or find a great place to eat or have a drink in the neighbourhood after your tour.

This is an outdoor experience. We don’t include museum or gallery entries during the walk, but your guide will happily point out spots to visit after the tour.

Paris is beautiful in every season. Bring a compact umbrella or light rain layer if showers are forecast; your guide may adjust the route for comfort and safety.

Yes—curious kids and teens love decoding symbols and spotting mosaics. Please reserve a place for every participant (including children) as all guests count toward our small-group limit of 15. Infants aged 0-3 years are free and do not need to be included in your booking.

We recommend comfortable walking shoes (there are cobblestones), a small daypack (hands free for photos), some water and a light layer for changing weather

Public restrooms in this area are limited; cafés are the most reliable option before or after the tour. Your guide can point you to the closest facilities at the start/end.

Yes—ask about our Private Street Art Tour to go deeper, adjust the pace, add photo stops, or combine nearby sites. Private options are listed on the tour page under “Private Options & Upgrades.”

You can change your booking up to 24 hours before your tour departure time. If you booked directly with us, use the Manage My Booking section in the footer of our website. If you booked on one of our partner platforms, please contact them to make the change.

We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure; inside 24 hours, your spot is locked and the guide is confirmed, we cannot cancel after this point.  If you need to cancel within 24 hours we recommend that you check with your travel insurer.

Because you’re not just “looking at walls”—you’re reading a living city with a guide who was once a street artist himself, personally knows the artists and understands the codes and the context.
